  • Will my Mercedes-Benz manufacturer warranty still be valid if I get my vehicle serviced at TJS?
    Yes. Your Mercedes-Benz service book will be stamped and details entered on the digital service book system (if relevant). Your manufacturer's warranty will remain unaffected under the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulations (BER). In October 2003 European Union Legislation affecting the motor trade came into force. Its full title is ‘Block Exemption Regulations 1400/2002’ (in short ‘BER’). This legislation changes the way cars may be serviced and repaired and gives motorists a lot more freedom in their decision as to who should look after their cars. Before BER, it was very difficult to have cars, which were still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, serviced anywhere except a franchised dealer. Now motorists can use any garage of their choice to service their cars without invalidating the manufacturer’s warranty (subject to certain conditions). To find out more, please click here.
  • Do you update the Mercedes-Benz Digital Service Book (DSB)?
    Digital Service Book (DSB) is a cloud-based electronic service record maintained by Mercedes-Benz. We have direct access to these records, and we will update the record if a service is carried out on your vehicle.
  • What services does TJS Service Centre offer?
    TJS Service Centre offers Servicing, Repairs, Computer Diagnostics, MOTs, Air Conditioning Servicing, Tyres, Safety Systems (including Airbags), Engine Software Updates and Warning Light Diagnosis for all Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
  • Do you use genuine Mercedes-Benz parts?
    Yes. TJS Service Centre only ever uses Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts.
  • What diagnostic equipment do you use?
    TJS Service Centre is equipped with dealer-level diagnostic testing equipment that is capable of coding and flash programming. As a result, diagnostic times are kept to a minimum. Factory-trained senior technicians at TJS Service Centre use both Star Diagnosis and Autologic Diagnostic equipment, providing full dealer-level capability with technical support.
  • How much will it cost to get my Mercedes-Benz vehicle serviced by TJS?

  • Do you service Mercedes-Benz vehicles with an automatic transmission?
    Yes we do. At TJS Service Centre, we service vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Do you provide a courtesy car or collection/drop-off service for customers?
    Yes, if we have a courtesy car available on the day of your vehicle service, you are more than welcome to make use of the car for the duration of the service. We just need to see a copy of your photo driving license and have a copy of your National Insurance Number for insurance purposes. You will also be required to sign a disclaimer. We also offer a car collection/drop-off service when avaialble. Please enquire for more information. Please note,our courtesy car, collection and drop-off service needs to be arranged in advance of your servicing date.
  • When is my vehicle due for its MOT?
    To check the MOT status of your Mercedes-Benz vehicle, please visit https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status.
  • Do you service Hybrid and Electric Mercedes-Benz vehicles?
    Yes. At TJS Service Centre, we are both trained and equipped to carry out routine servicing and repairs to both Hybrid and Fully Electric Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Please click here for more information.
  • How long has TJS Service Centre been established?
    Owner Terry Sheppard opened TJS Service Centre back in April 2004.

    TJS Service Centre is located at Unit 34, Brickfields Business Park, Gillingham, Dorset, SP8 4PX.
